It was the winter of 2018 at the 9:30 Club in Washington, D.C. when we first met. Brandon begin working there while attending Howard University, and Nateia had just joined as a new hire in training. Over the next several months, we formed a genuine friendship, working side by side, sharing experiences, and connecting over common interests. Then, in 2019, we went on our first date.
